We have an immediate full-time opening for an experienced cytogenetic technologist The Fullerton
Genetics Center Laboratory is a full service hospital-based laboratory located in scenic Asheville, NC. Our
current test menu covers constitutional cytogenetic (prenatal, postnatal, tissue, FISH, SNP microarray),
and we plan to offer a cancer service in the immediate future. A qualified applicant should have at least
2 years experience in a clinical cytogenetics laboratory. Experience in cancer cytogenetics is strongly
preferred, but not required. Willingness to work flexibly as a member of a highly motivated team is a
must. Additonally, all cytogenetic technologists are expected to cross train in molecular genetlc
techniques, and embrace new technological advances in our dynamically changing field. Daytime hours
(M-F)hours are preferred, and periodic weekend and holiday call are expected on a rotating basis.
